Math is an important part of architecture, especially geometry. One or
two courses may be required.

Attention to detail. An artistic bent for design. The ability to
visualize spaces. Comfort with computer technology.

A Google search on architecture schools gave these two links ---
disclaimer --- I know nothing about them and am not affiliated with
them. They may list some schools you might want to consider, might not.

Your local state college library is probably a gold mine. They almost
surely have books with colleges listed by degree, and then you can
investigate any schools you find intriguing. They also probably have
sources for "private" financial aid (anything ranging from $1000 to join
the synchronized swimming team at a certain school to essay competitions
to small grants for all sorts of things), if you are interested, If your
daughter is still in high school the guidance office may have sources.
If you live in or are near a large city a local Architects Association
may be willing to talk to prospective future members.
Good Luck!!
