Post subject: Filmaking in USA
Archived from groups: soc>college>gradinfo (more info?)

Hi, I am interested in a Graduate Program in Filmaking (or something
similar) in the US. I am an international student (spain) and just know
that the UCLA program is very good.

Bun to apply i will need to wait 11 months, so if anyone can recommend
any other university where to apply it would be great.

I have the idea that only NY and CA are good places to study cinema in
the US, but probably you guys know more about the US universities and
can reccomend somethin very good and not very very expensive.

AFI looks great, but it looks very expensive for me.

In NY I found something about NYU (Is it good?) and also about NYFA, I
understand it is not a University, so I am afraid it is not serious
enough to be well considerated in the Industry.

I am lost, so thank you for reading and double thank you if you give me
some feedback of your experience.
