A few additions to the former post, below...
Pelosi says priorities for this bill package will include food aid to
the poor, increased jobless benefits, federal money to the states for
Medicaid costs, government checks to households, etc...all socialist
focused (government redistribution of wealth).
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27166063/
Let's summarize where we are to this point. Obama wants to tax the
rich and tax struggling corporations charged with greed (some would
call that profit seeking or the American Dream) to pay for food to the
poor in this country (per Pelosi's words above), food for the world
(Obama's 50 Billion dollar pledge to the UN food program), health care
for everyone, government purchase of private banks, government
purchase of individual home loans, federal purchase of state loans,
increases in federal money for those not working, fee free withdrawal
of money from the struggling markets that need it (promoting a run-for-
the-door mentality), increases in Peace Corps and Americorps money
(and personel with national service promotion), increased regulation
over the free markets with curbs on "speculators"...i.e. free market
investing, etc
Someone still want to call Obama and the Democrats capitalists?
--
We already knew that Obama was partly responsible for the housing
industry collapse, after it was revealed he was a lawyer for Acorn
forcing lenders to make unfounded loans to those that could not pay
them back.
Then, we knew he was ineffective in fixing the problem, serving in
government position for many years and doing nothing to fix the
problems.
Then, we saw him shove as much socialist control into the rescue bill
as he could, condemning McCain for wanting a free market as a de-
regulator.
Now, we have the latest sign that Obama is either inept in
understanding the economy, or he just wants to destroy it. After
getting the government to BUY our banks (literally...made the
government bail out a buy out by requiring government ownership of the
banks ...shares of stock), he now is proposing an even bigger
socialist grab. Now, he wants the government to buy your home, as
well. In his economic proposal, today, he proposed a government
rescue of people's home loans, saying that if we can do it for Wall
Street, we should do it for people struggling with home loans.
Now, you remember that he demanded the government OWN the banks they
helped, so Obama will want to OWN your home that you cannot
afford...another socialist land grab.
Further, he is proposing to eliminate fees for those wanting to pull
their money out of their IRA or other retirement account. Not only
will this PROMOTE investors pulling out of the market, but it will
take away an income source of the very companies that we were
supposedly trying to help in the bail out (investment banks). How are
they supposed to pay back the government for the government share
purchases, when they are stripped of their ability to make money? As
I said, this is either ignorance or an intent to sink the market,
further.
Make no mistake. Obama's father shared his own dream of socialism
with his son, and this (former socialist party member) Presidential
candidate is doing everything he can to sink the capitalist system
(the FREE market) and replace it with a socialist system (which taxes
the rich and gives to the poor to redistribute wealth). He is even
proposing sending Billions (or Trillions) from the Federal government
to cover individual state debts. Where will he get the money for the
loans to the states and the home lender bailout...tax the rich.
However, he is already proposing increasing the taxes on the rich to
cover his health insurance for everyone plan. Then, we had to pay 700
Billion MORE (new spending) to bail out the banks. However, he said
he could still do it by ending the war (even as he is saying we will
remain in Iraq and fight another war in Afghanistan). So, from where
will the money come to cover his NEW proposals? The ONLY solution
consistent with his plans is to tax companies and the rich even more.
Obama said that if Congress doesn't act on this soon (and his party
knows it won't since they left town), he WILL do it as President
(individual home loan purchases by government, IRA fee free
withdrawals, etc). This is Obama's agenda....not just to get elected
but as President, as well. He plans to socialize America and make us
as Communistic as his associates want us to be.
So, the choice is clear. Vote for the one Obama called a "free-market
gambler" and "deregulator," McCain, or vote for USSA (Union of Soviet
Socialist America).

Obama in the primary debates...
"Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the
capital gains tax for purposes of fairness."

So your definition of fairness is when Warren Buffet pays taxes at the
rate of 19 percent while his secretary pays 35 percent??
And you claim to be a "chrischun superhero."
Let's see how real chrischuns act. Few years ago, Bob Riley --
businessman, Baptist, conservative Republican -- was elected governor
of Alabama. He immediately proposed a change in Alabama's antiquated
tax codes that taxed lower income people much more heavily than upper
income folks. One of his biggest targets was the state tax that
allowed out of state corporations to pay 25 cents per acre tax on
valuable timber land. Riley claimed that a tax system that
discriminated against the poor was "un-Christian" and not in keeping
with Jesus' teachings.
IMMEDIATELY he was attacked by the same Baptists and Republicans who
had put him in office.
So -- you have a choice: Either you support pushing the tax burden
down onto the shoulders of those unable to pay, or, you are a
Christian. You can't be both. >> Stay informed about: Obama Attack on Capitalism, pt 2 |

Obama:
"My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom
up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the
wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Obama is a pure socialist.

If you make no money, you pay no taxes. The more you make, in our
system, the more you pay; however, the bottom tax braket get their
taxes back in IRS refunds. This socialist money redistribution is
already in place (taxing the American Dream), and Obama wants to build
upon it.
However, I note you support Obama's socialist proposals.

It is indeed...exactly as I condemned, yesterday...please, do some
research...a little...you are embarrassing yourself.
Yes. Bush is wrong to do it, but the FED chairman said this morning
that the government purchases came from the Democrat congressional
bailout bill's directive...the stock purchase is a DEMOCRAT addition
to the "blank check" bill of the President. So, you are condemning
your own party's addition.

So, you back government forced socialism, also. Got it. I hope you
don't plan to prosper in the economy (the American dream)...the
government will come take it away. The more you succeed in
capitalism, the bigger enemy you are to Obama (unless you ARE Obama
graduating from Harvard, living in a million dollar mansion, and
sending your kids to private schools). Maybe, we should redistribute
HIS wealth. What do you think the chances are that Obama will donate
the proceeds of his book deals to the poor?

Why should I when you intentionally clipped my words to back your
socialist gains? The FED chairman said that the bank stock purchases
came as a result of the bailout bill, where the Democrats inserted the
stock ownership plan. So, you are condemning your own party leaders.

*Your* government, you know the one you champion and voted for TWICE ( which
in itself beggars belief), has just forced nine of the major banks to
accept a Treasury stake. Last time I looked, that was called

Actually, no.
Payroll taxes, of course, are not rebated, and add up to a huge total
And payroll taxes are capped --- the more you make the lower your tax
rate because income --- actually salaries --- over around $100k are
exempt. Further, non-payroll income is exempt, so the rate for the
wealthy falls even more.
The truth (something foreign to you) is that even a minimum wage job is
taxed at about 9%.

concept of socialism, the very notion on which our whole world order is
built.
