I'm about to consolidate my loans (approx 50k). I am aware of the
federal gov't service here:
http://loanconsolidation.ed.gov/ but I am
also receiving solicitations from some outfit called "Educational
Direct". My question to all of you is this: are they a private
company or not, and if so are they trustworthy? Thank you for any
information you can share.
