Greetings from The Queens Galley at Knightly Endeavors!

Who are we? The Queens Galley is the non profit philanthropic affiliate to
Knightly Endeavors, a renaissance era garment company based in Kingston, NY.
What we do: The Queens Galley supports, creates and implements nutritional
education programs for children and families.

The Queens Galley Service Award
Every year The Queens Galley will offer a scholarship of at least $250 and up
to $2500 to at least one student enrolled in full time study in a 2 or 4 year
program at an accredited college, University or Technical school. Applications
are accepted from May 1 until October 31 each year. Any application received
after the deadline will automatically be considered for the next year. This
scholarship is not renewable but award recipients may reapply in subsequent
years. Award checks are made payable to the institution not to the student.
Awards may only be used for tuition, books and fees.

Eligible applicants must have:
* 3.0 GPA or higher, (transcripts will be requested of finalists only)
* Have a relative who is now or in the past has been an active member of The
Queens Galley or the student themselves are a member of The Queens Galley. No
application will be considered without verification.
* Eligible applicants will have shown exemplary service to the community. Three
references or recommendations are required.
* Financial need is also considered but is not a prerequisite.
* An essay is required. Choose one (1) topic ; A) on the goals the student
applicant has set for themselves B) on the importance of giving back to the
community C)The historical changes in the fashion industry D)Childrens
nutrition . Please keep essays between 250 - 500 words, MLA format, all
references cited in the document.
