Post subject: Stafford Loan repayment while abroad
Archived from groups: soc>college>financial-aid (more info?)

Hi,

I am obtaining a stafford loan in the US. I will be studying and
hopefully working in England or elsewhere in Europe post-graduation.
For the loan, I have to repay a certain amount each month. If I am
living abroad, having these payments deposited through a international
bank, such as HSBC, Fleet, or Citibank could be useful - instead of
wiring money to a US account every month.

Does anyone know of any big banks that offer stafford loans and have
arrangements in foreign countries for these kinds of services?

Thank you.

Kind regards,
george
