Hi All:
The university I'm attending has a Masters' Degree in Computer Science
and Information Technology. There are two concentrations available --
CS and IT. I'm getting ready to finish the degree with the IT
concentration.
However, due to the electives I've taken, I only lack one class from
having the CS concentration as well. I would also have to do a thesis
to complete the CS concentration option.
Other than just enjoying classes or for my own education, is there any
value careerwise in achieving the double concentration for the same
degree and/or also completing a thesis? In the IT concentration, I
didn't have to do a full thesis. I just had to do a Masters' Project
to complete it.
Or careerwise, would most companies just note the Masters Degree and
not really be concerned with the concentrations and/or having done a
thesis?
Any advice is appreciated!
Drew
