I didn't think such a loan existed either. But, I found the following
information, and I hope that it can help someone, even though it looks
like it won't be able to help me.
The Wells Fargo Education Connection Consolidator Loan:
The Consolidator Loan enables borrowers to refinance multiple student
loans, federal and/or private, into a single loan with a more
affordable monthly payment. Spouse's or family member's loans can be
combined for maximum flexibility. And borrowers have deferment options
while in school, making this an affordable choice for them.
The Consolidator Loan program is a good choice for you if you are:
--A current or former student wishing to consolidate multiple student
loans
--A former student wishing to consolidate and refinance a spouse or
family member's student loans with your own
--A current or former student who would like to make one simple
payment each month instead of multiple student loan payments
--A former student with several high-rate student loans, who wants to
refinance at today's lower rates
To qualify you need to have:
--Good credit standing
--A reoccurring, verifiable source of income
--Be a US citizen
